When investing $80,000 in luxury sliding glass doors, you anticipate sleek, clear panels that enhance your home’s aesthetics. Unfortunately, my experience with NanaWall has been anything but seamless. Every single one of the fifteen panels was plagued by a persistent foggy streak running down the midline—an issue that has yet to be resolved after three rounds of replacements.
Despite repeated communications with NanaWall’s representatives, including clear documentation through photos of these defects, the cycle of frustration continues. Their Central Installation Manager, Zac Lerma, recently asked me to clarify which panels were affected—a question that baffled me, as I had repeatedly emphasized that all the panels were impacted. Not only is this streaking a central defect, but some panels also have scratches, adding insult to injury. I now refer to these as my “twofer” panels—simultaneously scratched and streaky.
The warranty provided by NanaWall promises coverage for insulated glass units with material obstructions to vision. However, the reality has been far different. Instead of promptly addressing the defects, NanaWall has repeatedly shifted responsibility, leaving me to chase them for solutions. Their limited warranty also seems to exclude costs like labor, further burdening me with expenses on top of an already massive investment.
As I await a fourth replacement attempt, I’ve lost confidence in NanaWall’s ability—or willingness—to deliver a product that lives up to their luxury branding. What should have been a beautiful upgrade to my home has turned into an ongoing battle of delays, subpar replacements, and a glaring lack of accountability.
If you’re considering NanaWall, know that their marketing promises don’t always translate into real-world quality. This experience has been a cautionary tale in what happens when a company fails to uphold its premium reputation.
